fungi, ед. ч. fungusГруппа нефотосинтезирующих, эукариотных талломных организмов. Грибы растут в аэробных условиях и получают энергию путём окисления органических веществ. Своим названием грибы обязаны самым заметным своим представителям – шляпочным грибам. Грибы подразделяют на слизевики (см. также акразиомицеты и миксомицеты), низшие грибы (см. также фикомицеты)
